The Frustration Puzzle, explores the utilisation of one of the most common objects nowadays, your phone. To do so, I decided to use P5.JS because it permits the user to use its accelerometer and gyroscope pretty easily. In this project I tried to explore human frustration.
The concept is quite simple, you have to complete a puzzle by moving your phone. How does it work? Moving your phone means modifying the accelerometer value. By doing so, the code tells the pieces to place themselves somewhere randomly. Completing the puzzle of frustration might be complicated, maybe impossible, but who knows? You might finish it earlier than you think…
The idea behind this whole project is also to understand that you won’t achieve anything without time, but also you don’t have to blame yourself for everything. The puzzle isn’t that hard to complete if you count the pieces. But the random factor of the whole thing makes it super complicated. The contrast between the simple look and the complexity of the completion makes it really interesting.
