Flood
My focus for the open share project was to refine and expand on my ideas and presentation for an animation I made earlier this year. The animation was made to visualise the relationship grief has with isolation and exploring wether there is a healthy way to do this as well as recognising the risks and danger of when isolating can go wrong.
The outcome I developed for this project was an animation using mixed media techniques primarily stop motion and drawn animation. This had a focus on atmosphere and creating a unique visual style with a limited colour pallet and focus on texture, On top of this I further developed 3 subsequent outputs. These were a soundscape partially generated by A.I. that focused on displaying the messy and more sinister side to my theme, a poster that compared and contrasted the two aforementioned videos and a 3D prototype exploring how I'd ideally take this project further in a realised exhibition.
I also included a video further explaining and showing how I made the artefacts as well as the reasoning and inspirations for my work.
